PROJECT TO ACHIEVE

net-carbon
neutral target

through on-site measures
with remainder achieved through
carbon offset payments.

82% SPACE IS

refurbishment/reuse

of existing buildings

reducing embodied carbon
of new construction.

Re-using the existing buildings for residential and commercial purposes, approximately 63% of embodied carbon is saved compared to the construction of a new building and renovation vastly reduces waste associated with building.

Air source heat pumps will be installed both for environmental reasons and for the potential cost savings for residents. Air source heat pumps have lower running costs and a lower carbon footprint than traditional heating methods, no fuel deliveries are required, no fuel storage requirement and the systems require less maintenance than traditional combustion heating systems.
